Hand therapy

Our Hand Therapy service focuses on evaluation & identification of conditions affecting the hand, wrist and fingers. Delivered by a qualified physiotherapist who specialises in this field of bespoke splinting and rehabilitation to patients with problems affecting the upper limbs.

Following your initial consultation, if required you will be provided with advice relating to exercises, splints (custom made or off the shelve), preventative measures, recommendation on aids to assist with daily hand function. It is aimed to enable patients to return to best function following a hand injury, hand surgery or deformity affecting the hand, finger or wrist.

After hand surgery, we work closely alongside with hand surgeons and consultants in the planning of your care, pre and post surgery toward a successful recovery and resumption of hand function.
