Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapy helps you live your best life at home, at work – and everywhere else. Occupational Therapy is a client centred health profession that enables people to participate in the activities of daily living that they want to, need to or are expected do. This is achieved by education, modification of the environment or through rehabilitative interventions.
In my role working with Ruth I will be able to make recommendations about assistive technologies and equipment as well as any minor adaptations that could prove beneficial in your homes. For those who require physical support from carers or loved ones I feel confident in advising on safe moving and handling practice and in providing transfer aids.
